Image bank- Depth

Below are a collection of images sourced from the internet which I feel portray the sense of depth. I feel that the photographs show distance, how close and how afar from something.

This image is of a brick wall, it demonstrates depth by the change in size but also the change in focus. The photo is focused mostly at the front and as the wall goes on, the detail becomes more blurred.

A field; this image conveys the idea of depth in the sense of how large the field actually is. The field shows rows that appear to get increasingly narrower throughout due to depth.

This photo is of a curb, you can see that the depth is represented in the narrowing of the curb which is largely and more predominantly shown by the yellow line.

A padlock on a chain. The padlock is the main focus in this photograph and it displays depth greatly as it creates the sense of distance by the difference in size of the lock and the chain.

The object in the frontal centre is the largest but as the distance increases, the size of similar objects decreases in width.

A set of stairs all of the same width and length yet the steps furthest away are smaller than those closer to the front of the image.
