Definition- Depth

Depth:
dimension taken from an object usually downward from an upper surface, horizontally inward from an outer surface, or from top to bottom of something regarded as one of several layers.

Words describing depth:
Steep
Gradual
Harsh
Deep
Shallow
Endless
Profound

Depth is shown in this image by the narrowing of the pathway as it goes into the distance.

The largest part and biggest focus of the photo is the foot. The foot is usually one of the smallest body features but it being the biggest creates a sense of depth in the sense how far away it is from the rest of the body.

The apples get smaller as they are further away from the front. Also the main focus is the front apple but as they go into the distance they become blurred which portrays depth.

The many posts shows depth because those closest are the biggest where as those further away in the distance are the smaller and thinner ones which creates a sense of depth.

My definition of depth:
A view that of an object that portrays an object as been endless.
