The images below represent line in several different ways by using different angles and different colour effects.
Above the photo shows a yellow line, a road marking. In this particular photo, line is portrayed as both long and thin.
These lines are vertical which help emphasise height of the railings.
I feel that this photo has captured line by using the light and dark contrast which is created- the front of the stairs are dark and the front dark.
Horizontal lines are made more obvious by the black and white effect. This enhances the lines within the wood.
The contrast between the black and white lines emphasises both the narrowness and the length of each line.
I particularly like this photo because of the angle it has been taken at. This angle particularly emphasises the lines, both those formed from the wood and the gaps between each plank.
