The following pictures show how colour can be captured using different effects.

There is a change in colour across the photo from one side to the other. The right hand side of the photo is all in black and white but colour is introduced across the picture to the left hand side. Although the colour is mainly concentrated in the background, the choice of colours being mainly primary largely engages and attracts the viewer.

Although the whole image is in colour, the colours are quite vivid which I feel makes the red flowers stand out from the green.

I feel that the arrangement of the pencils creating a circle, makes the colours stand out more.

The background is all black which naturally diverts ones attention to the colour, the choice of such bright colours and the 'splash' motion which is created helps portray colour even further.

All the photo is in black and white apart from the telephone boxes. All the telephone boxes are in different colours and the brightest colours are towards the front of the image and the darker towards the back.

Green. All of the image is green by a small patch of yellow and a black beak. Although the majority is one colour, throughout the photo there are different shades which help give a sense of form.
